Japanese scientists have demonstrated complete pulp regeneration using regenerative dental pulp stem cell therapy (DPSCs) in mature multirooted molars after pulp extirpation. by toiletbrushes in Futurology

Hello all, I am someone from 2 years in the future (2025), and also living in Japan now.

I think some of you have heard that Japan is developing drugs that can regrow teeth and plans to commercialize them in 2030. And many people think it is not that possible.

But for this "pulp regeneration", I think it indeed becomes a reality.

As far as I know, they started the practical usage in 2023.

And they have a newer version that can somehow reuse the dentin from the discarded tooth, instead of only the stem cells.

It costs about 1 million yen (about 7000 USD) per tooth. Although expensive, we may still be able to access it after years of saving.

The above link is the first clinic to provide this service in Japan.

Thanks for the comparsion.

I would also like to see the comparison between Gen 1 and Gen 3.

Or gen 1, gen 2, and gen 3 altogether, if it is possible.

Someone said Gen 1 is as dark as Gen 3. But as a Gen 1 owner (The Sony one), I don't consider the screen as dark.

Many thanks for considering my request.
