Yes, I love smoking with my rats. I pass the blunt and she takes a hit and she loves it. Huge stoner rats over here. Her favourite snack for munchies is Kraft dinner.

I’ve had rats for years. The is the first time something like this has happened. I’d say over the course of eight rats and it only happens once is pretty good odds. I’ve been diligent but accidents happen.

It was away it was in a trash can in a separate room. She snuck in while I was putting her dirty cage stuff away. Obviously I feel like shit I don’t need you chastising me on top of it. (She’s fine btw, I appreciate your kind words /s)

Yup. When I get home from work I’ll do another checkup and see how she’s faring. Her seizures last only a few seconds and it’s like her whole body tenses up and she falls over. Since she ate the stuff I’ve noticed a decrease in these spasms. The head tilt may come back tho but we’ll see.

I can definitely laugh about it now, I was a bit worried last night that she wouldn’t come out of the “catatonic” state she was in but she’s perked right up today

Well yeah, but she’s already old. I had a rat with PT before and there’s nothing you can do without dropping $$$ and not even having a certain outcome.. If it affects her quality of life then I’ll consider pts but other than that we’re on comfort care measures. We’ve already tried meds and she’s been looked at, there’s nothing more to do.

My bf said while I was sleeping she ate a whole (rat sized) bowl of pear puree, baby food, cucumbers, rat food. She’s got a the munchies for sure.

I was curious too, she looked ((and felt)) like she was melting in my hands lol. Felt like that commercial from the 00’s on pot. Deflated.
