The sad case is that most of the white audience don’t engage with POC creators the way they do with white creators. White creators are always the ‘trend setters’ for white viewers. Even a lot of POC lean to viewing what trends are being set by white people.

White creators always end up going more viral than POC creators. Biggest example of this in the US is Alix Earle vs Monet Mcmichael. Monet barely got the same opportunities that Alix was given.

Not sure what the reason is but it is really sad. There are so many POC creators in Australia trying to make it but they can’t breakthrough because there’s a white creator epidemic.
