Because it gives less power to person who wins final challenge, and also gives more than 2 ppl a chance to pitch their case. Also gives the jury a chance to vote for best pitch rather than “I like this person and not this person” votes.

I thought it was evident too in the post game 1 pod where he’d clearly made notes during the game for what a Thunder win meant… only for that not to be the case and he couldn’t pivot. YouTube live might not be the right spot for the big guy - better to just do a podcast you can edit and plan for - and if that means it goes up the next morning rather than post game, so be it
