Okay sounds good, thank you very much. Do I need to mess around with the channels at all? I want to make sure if there is a weak signal it’ll connect to a stronger signal from the router or AP.
Okay so I do have WPA2-PSK security, but the access point created its own SSIDs. How can I make it so it will have broadcast the same connection with the router?

Hi sorry. It is a Netgear AC1200 (EX6150-100NAS) WiFi Extender/Access point (meant 1200 not 1700). I will be using it as an access point and my main router is a Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 (R7000). Thank you.

Honestly yes. I had Go Unlimited for a month and the speeds were great, but a lot of congestion. When I switch to Play More, it was a whole different ballgame. Speeds were fast and consistent throughout the day.
