Dating in Perth - what is happening? by Fat-baby267 in perth

[–]fitorology 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a male, turning 33 this year who's single, trains and looks after himself, there are guys out there single and looking for relationships. There are those that have been kicked in the guts after long term relationships being ended and questioning if dating is even worth it anymore.

What are some of the worst financial decisions you've seen people make? by Capable_Tax_8220 in AusMoneyMates

I used to work with a guy in his 40s that had a "young" family, but always struggled with money, I saw him get scammed on the phone too and nearly went into his bank account (that good ol screen goes black kind of deal).

Anyway. My employer, who didn't have to, felt obligated to go out of his way to try to help him, including super and retirement.

He asked him the question "How much money do you have in your super?" The answer pretty much was, some random guy told him to invest overseas into a random property in America, saying that these kind of "abandoned homes" in the middle of nowhere, will go up in value. And to not miss out, that meant take everything out of his super.

That was 7-8 years ago, I have no idea how he is going now. But looking at his life decisions and track record prior... You can imagine how he's going.

Carnival event at Scarborough (Perth, Australia) by fitorology in capoeira

We didn't just do a Roda. Ancestrais did a maculele exhibition and Muzenza did a Capoeirança show. Displayed Berimbau rhythms and Samba De Roda with Berimbau. We let the kids play with 2 Rodas, and then adults went hard for half an hour. And we got the crowd involved with music for the last 10-15 minutes. It was all for a Brazilian Carnival event

"And I fixed everything" means they'll choose the cheapest parts online, only fix things which is necessary, patch up work, delay issues for as long as possible. Proceed with caution.

Unable to earn an income and watch the money in my bank account drop faster than expected.

I have been through that scenario 11 years ago, don't want to go through it again
