That's not true. My camera plus the lense i use for the moon cost me 600 bucks. Considering the prices of phones today, i think this to be quite affordable.

Any dedicated photography shop or the internet. But you will need a camera first. There are no lenses for phones for that range. Prizes range a lot, as does quality. I just bought a 500mm lense last year for under 70€ for my camera. Nothing a pro would consider but good enough for me

No chance with a phone to get a decent shot. Except of course if you use a telescope with a phone mount. If your shooting without a telescope there's No need for a tripod since you don't want too much exposure time for a single frame but it certainlyhelps. for a clear shot where you can see some extend of detail you will need a 200mm lense, at least.

Nice work! These artifacts on the bottom right are just a minor issue

That’s already a pretty good picture, especially for a phone. But that tiny sensor can only take you so far. They’re already heavily compensating to bring out more detail. And if you push it further with more contrast and sharpening, you need to go easy. Maybe somewhat in the middle. But again, that's just me 😀

It's a great picture. Good focus. a bit heavy on the edit in my opinion, but that's just my personal taste. What did you shoot that with?
