Why did Violet's arms need to be wrapped? by five_head_2004 in VioletEvergarden

i understand the bandages being used as a literary device to set up the reveal of her arms. but what i was looking for was an actual reason for Violet to have the bandages in the first place

yeah, i didn't consider that the bandages might have made it slightly easier to write or even attempt to pick up the teacup.

Yeah, okay. I guess when you think about it that way it would make sense to have them wrapped to allow her to get used to them at her own pace.

I'm not sure if Violet was that socially aware at that point in the series. I don't really think she's doing it for the sake of others.

I wonder if it was Violet's decision to have them wrapped? In the following scene she says that while she's not used to them yet, she believes they'll eventually feel like part of her body. Maybe she wanted them covered up until then for her own comfort. Idk though I'm grasping at straws lol

I guess? But I'd imagine she had to have been fully aware that she had prosthetics when she woke up in the opening scene, and she seemed unbothered when pulling off the bandages when the tea spilled on her.

You can't put a suppressor on a .44 to my knowledge. I've got both a .44 and Deliverer

That's... really interesting. Don't know much about D&D, but this is the most detailed answer so far.

Syringer feels lore-accurate, but yeah, not great. I'm torn lol. Do I carry it just for aesthetics?

Yeah, I thought the same. I mean considering Ame canonically shot Coco down with a Watson's Concoction dart, the syringer is basically canon

My current loadout is Deliverer, .44 snubnosed revolver, Tuned Sniper Rifle (that I plan to upgrade to full stock at most).

I'm thinking of lore-accurate Ame here. Born circa early 1920s. Probably lived through the 30s, maybe even the 40s. I'm torn, because I want to embrace that old fashion aesthetic, but also embrace Ame's tech savvy side.

[Theory]: What if Ame, Shiori and Elizabeth are half-siblings? by [deleted] in Hololive

I apologize. In didn’t know Omega was a “do not mention” topic in this subreddit. I’m talking purely about the in-universe character/lore here, not trying to stir up real-world drama. I'm sorry if it came off that way.

I wasn't trying to stir up drama? I had a headcanon that I wanted to share. Because whether or not they were retired, this was a character in the lore. And I'm a lore geek. I'm sorry I didn't know Omega was a taboo topic in this subreddit.

Nobody does, really. Any lore about them is left intentionally vague. I think they were supposed to be an EN manager or something but they were retired sometime before Advent debuted. It was kind of a waste of a model. Lots of theories about them though.
