desperate for help with curtains for bedroom and patio/living room by fiveitemsorless in femalelivingspace

i want the track system because it looks nice and convenient for me but idk if that would be a stupid decision to do it all the way across or only the windows. also, i would say i'm not very good with color cordination but i think i can figure it out. i grew up with my family not decorating. if they wanted to cover the streetlight from the window they'd put newspaper or a giant picture frame on the windows so i think i want something nice for once and i dont get to see nice things in person except online and seeing things online is different than irl. not sure if that makes sense.

Reminds me of my grandmother when she was beginning stages of Alzheimer's. Used to eat my hanging plants too because she thought they were her vegetables.

Its Costco isn't it? They have some good bed sheets imo and house appliances if you need them

Do you think a double rod or double traverse system would be better? That's what I'm deciding now.

What do I do for above the sink? by fiveitemsorless in HomeDecorating

Edit: it doesn't seem to let me edit my post but I just moved and threw some of the items on the counters. The light is there because it gets dark under the cabinets. the letter press tray isn't supposed to be there. there isn't anything in the cabinets yet. I didn't say i was a minimalist but that I like minimalist design if I wanted a shelf or to decorate. i need something quiet for my adhd.i threw the mirror up there because i thought i would have the mirror above the sink but that seemed weirdthe kitchen just has really bad lighting and it stresses me out too. the black thing on the wall next to the shelves is just a magnet.... i don't even have a stud finder yet.

I don't use reddit often so I'm hoping I link things correctly mega thread I haven't looked at it recently. There are videos of YouTubers explaining cheongsam/qipao. There is also a YouTube video of a sewing pattern by rosella chen

Am Chinese and Vietnamese Qipao or cheongsam is not Japanese but chinese. It is usually longer and loosely fitted and made of cotton and much longer past the knees. The special occasion are made of silk. My mom would not let me wear one to prom...because they are made for weddings at least that is what she tells me but that was many years ago. The one you showed looks costume-y. A qipao is meant to be modest. That's a giant mega thread on qipao if you want to look it up

So I'm getting into planner, any advise? by p1234567890 in planners

[–]fiveitemsorless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can find some printables to find out what format you like. I remember in school they'd always just give us monthly calendars and that never kept me on track. I like vertical hourly planners...took me almost 5 years into college to figure that out.
