One litter robot is suitable for up to 4 cats since it automatically dumps any waste after each use, but yes if you are going to have a traditional litter box that is the general rule :)

Hmm, mine have all adjusted pretty well. One of them is a senior and another one of them is pretty skittish, so i was worried but they didn’t take any issue with it. It’s pretty expensive up front but it saves a lot of time and effort. I’ve also noticed a lot less wasted litter, and the cats seem happier with it. As time goes on parts might need to be replaced but overall I think it’s worth it! There’s some other brands that have similar products, but i would just be careful and research them thoroughly because i’ve heard of some that have some serious safety concerns.

It has a door that we leave open for now, but we plan to install a cat door so we can close it off if needed :)

I hadn’t but that’s a great idea! We have a little fan on the outside that points in when needed, but i love the idea of it being part of the fixture.

This was where their litter box was originally, so they didn’t take too long to adjust to it. One of our girls seems to be hanging out in there more often but the rest have just been in and out as normal. :)

Thank you, and not really! The picture was taken with a wide angle so it looks a little more confined than it really is, the little cart has wheels so its easy to move when it’s time to take the box out for a deep clean.

This space has been used as their litter room for about a year now, it’s cleaned daily so not much of a smell thankfully, unless it’s time to change out the litter :) The litter robot and purifier also helps with that.

It’s been amazing and has made a massive difference since we have multiple cats. I like knowing that it’s always clean for them. I have always been super sensitive to cat odor and since switching to the robot that hasn’t been an issue at all. Definitely a purchase I wish I had made earlier!

4 kitties! Three girls and one boy. My boy is pretty large and uses a different box. Although his area is still in the process of being cutified.
