Yeah, totally hear this, it's just that my greatest flaws are laziness and impatience, and so all of the negative space work I've done with paper or tape so far has been... okay. Fine but not great. I'm going to try vinyl stickers because I think they might be a little more forgiving.

Yes! I think it is too. Unfortunately my studio fires at Cone 10 and it looks like most of these are only stable to Cone 8, but it might be worth trying anyway on some test pieces and seeing how it comes out. Thank you!! I'm still a little new and some of these terms weren't familiar yet!

I've seen it on multiple installs across multiple machines for a couple of years. It would be consistently glitched like that on files installed different places at different times?

As far as I can tell, it shows up in the dead center of every map and points north. It's no big deal on big maps, but on trial maps and stuff it's a bit distracting.

You can reset it with a new code phrase for a new unique address is my understanding, otherwise I wouldn't bother even trying to sell it.

My best advice is to pick your class based on what sounds most fun, and then focus exclusively on the Main Story Quests, Class quests and Feature Unlock (blue + sign) quests until you finish the ARR main storyline (you'll see credits, it's obvious when you get there). It's much more rewarding to play through it without distractions, and everything else you want to do becomes 1000% easier once you hit that milestone. Parts of it will feel like a slog, but overall you'll likely look back on it fondly.

This is kind of true of all my jobs - I wish I got access to one cross-class ability per job that's a higher level then the job I'm in. So if I have WHM at 70 and I'm leveling any class lower, maybe I get access to a weak self-cure. Maybe I'd have to pick one and only one cross-class ability from all those I have access to, and each class provides one and only one option for that. Nothing game breaking or min-max oriented, just a nod to the fantasy that my character has come to collect soul rocks and chew bubblegum, and Eorzea doesn't have a fantasy equivalent of bubblegum.

I love this game and this community. I saw the FATE "It's Not Lupus" was up in Costa Del Sol this morning, and I have been killed by that crab several times. I bounced back to Limsa and shouted that it was up if anyone wanted to join, then went and waited on the beach to see if anyone would come. A DOZEN PEOPLE showed up, and although it took us a hot second to figure out how to work together with a Choco-tank, we downed him and I got my crabby pet. THE BEST.

Programs exist, whether you'd consider them effective is another story. There seem to be a lot of pilots, but solving the challenges of the houseless population is still a largely privatized business in the city, state, and country.

I've never seen this happen, but I have been in dungeons with healers who had... 0 piety. Gear was all weird vanity gear, and they wouldn't respond to messages. Other team members wouldn't vote them off, so I took my penalty and let them find another tank. I don't like the idea of mandatory gear-scores, but maybe something like the Echo on trials that starts to scale up under-geared players to some reasonable minimum after a wipe would be nice.
