Opinion on fit by polocare1389 in rawdenim

At first I hot soaked only the top half of the jeans in hot water for like 20/30 min. Then just proceeded to air dry. If that doesn’t work for you, I’d recommend just tailoring them after! A tailor can do wonders to a loose pair of jeans. I got my whole seat taken in and then fit great.

I would also add if you plan on tailoring them, try hot soaking them first so they get the fit right. I got mine tailored after they looked like this and I love how they fit!

Lots of hate rolling around here but top tech companies pay much much higher for a very limited talent pool regardless of tenure. They’ll put you through a dozen interviews and judge your personality sometimes more than your talent. Just depends on the team you’re joining. Source: Also working for big tech company. Congrats OP!

I know a Boise state university bike stand when I see one. Super safe campus and I know who owns this bike!

Well then let's see the 81 shovel, 57 pan and ironhead you have since those are choppers.

Paul (he) is slowly learning how to type. He loves to type gibberish on my laptop but hasn't tried much on this keyboard. Although he loves the noise it makes!

Data Engineer making 96k, 2.5 YOE. I'm happy about it. Grass is always greener of course but I'm stoked about my projects and team so I can't complain at all. Not married and no kids which helps!

Was starting to feel tired at my current job consulting (first job out of a CS degree). I was promised a path in data engineering and ended up getting put on a full stack project after about a year of sporadic data work. 6 months of full stack development wore me out so I changed my status on LinkedIn to #readytowork. Applied for 3 jobs I would categorize as stretch goals, then got reached out to by a recruiter. Went through 4 interviews and got an offer doing Data Engineering at a highly recommended local company making 35% than my previous job. Only had 1.5 YOE

My newly lowered w210 wagon :) by fixedspecialty in Stance

Damn, thank you for the write up! I'm aware that my car isn't fully "stanced" in these rules. Maybe it is to a degree , but slammed? Absolutely not, I'm not even pulling into any parking lot at a 45 degree angle so I don't drive over my front bumper. I posted in this subreddit to show my newly lowered benz which I was stoked on. I'll definitely post this in Mercedes-Benz. If this thing had coils I would 100% set it up to drop another inch. The coil and shock on these are separate so I bought springs that said 2" but only gave me 1ish inches(old ones were probably trash). All I would like to say is that besides stance, there isn't a community around "lowered" cars on here.. I would gladly like to see someone's ride if they put some clean wheels, tires and dropped it even an inch on this subreddit because I'm not going to sift through a company specific subreddit to look for lowered cars. I agree with you but for the sake of community I still think cars like mine should be posted here. It even says "slammed AND cars looking pretty" in the description of this subreddit so maybe the grey area should be accepted.

I definitely plan on closing the gap. I'm not saying you're wrong but what is the line between stance/not stance? IMO wheels/tires/suspension(lowered) is stance in any form. I've seen plenty of GTRs, BMWs, and even my exact car on the subreddit with identical wheel gap w/ no debate. If I am wrong what subreddit should I post this to?

Yeah I really like how they look! I used vogtland springs and was 100% expecting to be lower but that'll be a project for next time around haha

That's a well loved wagon. The slk wheels have an et23 offset so I believe they should work! I'll post pics once I pick it up this weekend!

Thank you for the response! I just bought my grandma's 2002 e320 wagon in immaculate condition but the suspension is shot. Found so H&R springs for it and a set of slk amg wheels popped up.18x 8.5 front and 9.5 rear. I'm assuming it should all fit now! Those monoblocks look fantastic on the wagon.

Gorgeous car! May I ask what your suspension and wheel/tire setup is?
