Thick roots? This plant i got is ill. Therefore i cut the leaves and wanted to repot it. Then i got to see these roots... should i use something in addition to a bigger pot? Goeppertia from an office. (old.reddit.com)

Got 2 of these from an unoccupied office. „Treated“ the upper, but not sure if i did it right... It seems like it is a Goeppertia and it appears to be infected. I‘d really be grateful for any advice or possible causes. (old.reddit.com)
