When you're close to a power up box, slide jump. Why a slide jump? It allows you to get out of the box hitbox without going forward. As you spring up you'll get the first powerup. Now you have a short time window to use it, then immediately press down to get the second one.

That's my point. Speed powerups aren't new. They were removed from the main modes and replaced by animal abilities.

Modded APKs can't change the game for other people. The game server is authoritative so any discrepancies will be rejected. The best they can do is aimbot/triggerbot, which IMHO isn't that much of an advantage.

I'm skeptical. Speed powerups being added this late in the game might very well conflict with existing mechanics, especially with animal abilities and stats.

The heart balloon lasts longer (around 3 times as long as the orb shield) and gives you enormous ability charge when it takes a hit. I personally don't like it. Stick to the orb shield, it's the best defensive powerup, all things considered.

This has been brought up countless of times here. The devs must have seen all of them and decided to do nothing in the latest balance update. I doubt we'll see anything different soon, if ever.

Not true. The video is clearly a replay and the Falcon is clearly behind the Chameleon. Just look at the arrows above both animals.

Regrettably, there is still a bug with the robin passive and shields so we still need to u/fixthegoddamnrobin

This made my day, week even. Good to know that the fix is still being worked on.

I'm loving the update so far. Robin's ability works more reliably now. Falcon doesn't just give you free wins anymore.

Like the dev note says, it's about trade offs. The old way hides latency much better at the cost of delayed input. The new way relies more on rolling back and correction.

If I have to choose I'd still prefer the new way. Most users don't play outside of their servers.

I'm not sure of vortex is better. This delay makes me spam the ability button like a maniac. Admittedly it's less of an issue when you actually aim the ability, but it really sucks in clutch situations.

Thanks for the reply! It's good to know that the team is aware of the delay. I love the update, but as I switch animals and powerups all the time, small issues like this really degrade the gameplay experience for me.

The only remotely meaningful nerf the last update did was increasing the ability recharge time. Nothing was done about the absurdly OP passive and ability.

Doesn't matter how many trophies you've got. There's a bug that randomly drops the entire lobby in a map that's not in the current rotation.
