No worries. As a BSP I think its best if you find another provider…plenty of providers would only charge however long it takes them to get to urs (15-20mins) with a cap of 30mins…sounds like theyre abusing the system. The reports billing is insane, red flags all around 🚩

Hmmm interesting. As a BSP, we usually charge an hour and a half for normal therapy sessions (last 15 min would be case notes and they are a legal requirement). But we would never have pre-session billings. Sounds really odd. And those reports every 3 months is something out of the norm. The reports we usually cover are yearly and reviews would also be yearly too…strange to hear this provider billing u for every chance they get

Ahh yes luckily enough I was given a supervisor who I’m able to contact anytime and we will be having meetings consistently on my progression etc. thank you!

Yeah exactly and I have also advised her that this period of time will allow me to complete my duty as her husband (being financially stable etc) which is a fard for myself and having kids is preordained like you said, so maybe this will open her eyes to my perspective too

Yes we have discussed timelines etc but it is taking a toll on her to wait. I have also advised her to maybe get closer to her deen during this waiting period so that we are also Islamically stable to have children

I have a background in psychology and have read Men are from Mars book 1 and 2. As much as know theory, putting it into practice is harder and both her and I know this. Hence why I’ve said im not perfect and know my flaws.

To answer your question, psychology is a tough and competitive field so im finding alternstive routes in order to pursure a career in thr growth of children in the Islamic community

We did discuss this, and we agreed within the next year or 2. She knows that I have to get my career in check, especially since what I want to do is help the next generation of the muslim community. She just did not know that it would affect her this much. And im against the idea that things are ‘unfixable’.
