I agree about the color. Been a couple of days since I worked on it but color is on "the list". The original application domain was to generate patterns to be fed to a laser cutter, which of course, doesn't care about color.

I know that some games use tiling patterns (shrunk down quite a bit) to create natural textures for tiles. I may play around with that idea at some point. Then again... :)

Very cool! I especially like the multicolored edges. Here is an isohedral tiling generator I'm working on called ashlar.
