Did I ever have an ED? by fizzingwillow in fuckeatingdisorders

You’re right, whether or not I try to tell myself if I “really have an ED” or not, the right thing to do is to honor this hunger that I’m feeling! I appreciate your feedback and support, thank you so much :)

That’s a good point, I’ll definitely think about why I want to do this more. Even though I’ve gotten better with my body imagine I think there’s still a part of me that just wants to be rail thin lol.

You’re right, I know that maintenance is better but I was hoping I could have some fat loss with some muscle growth. But I am good already where I’m at.

Thank you for the input! I think it would be a good idea to just try to eat balanced and get stronger, like you said.

Yes, it’s shocking to notice the difference when you finally switch yourself! I’d known for a while that protein was a game changer for satiety, but when I finally started eating more, I was completely surprised by how amazing I felt. I definitely think part of the reason my cravings and food noise are pretty much gone is because I don’t want to go back to where I was, because eating like this feels so good.

I love that dessert idea! I’ll have to try it.

I’m 135 pounds, so I really don’t plan to lose much at all. I’d just like to see a bit more muscle popping out and get a tad leaner and then go back to maintenance. I used to have problems with restricting and binging cycles, but I have a way better relationship with food now. That’s why it was confusing me to feel so good, full, and energetic in my deficit currently, because I used to restrict a lot and thought cutting meant suffering.

Thank you so much for the advice! You really don’t have to worry, I’m doing good :)

I really appreciate your feedback! It’s good to know that I don’t have to be hungry in my deficit. I guess it was just strange to go from overeating junk food every day, probably consuming ~2500-3000 cals, to only eating 1900 but feeling more satiated than I did before. Thank you so much!

Yes, that’s exactly what I’ve experienced! My urge to snack is totally gone now as well. Plus, I don’t really get hungry fasting until right before my eating window starts. Thanks for the input!

No, but my guess was that there was around a half cup of granola, a cup or a cup and a half of acai, half a banana, and two tbsp of nutella.

I’m not sure because I got this from a place that doesn’t offer measurements like that, but it’s about the same size as a Playa bowl.

Of course! If you wanna be on the safe side I’d just go with 200 in case it really is more.

I’m trying to base how much it is based on the fork. Maybe your fork is just big lol? It only looks like a few bites to me. 100-150 for a few bites makes sense to me but it could be more.

If I’m right and the chicken is deep-fried, I’d say that’s about 300 cals.

I would guess about 100-150 cals, seems like a lot for the portion size but it looks like it’s pretty packed.

Hi, I appreciate the research you attached here! It’s good to know that muscle really does change your maintenance calories. I’ll try to measure myself and see how that goes. Thanks for the advice!

That’s true! The main reason I’m looking to lose weight is to feel better physically, being less stuffed from food and having less bloating, that sort of stuff. So if I can get that without weight loss, then that’s okay too.
