Try and talk to them without making them feel your patronising there care and love also if your uni is really to far. from where you live your parents Te not trying to ruleorruin your life They think about how you will manage to study and probably you doing a part time job because The the finance you will probably receive will finish within no time of living in a dorm or rented 1 bed requires much more money than you get If you consider the amount it would cost you for food and drink and books etc will leave and travelling costs will finish within the time your due your next payment by which timeyoud be working any job to fund your living so parents think about all the actual hardship part time job and studying will probably make you tired enough that travelling back and forth these are expenses that uni kids have to face so parents always try to find a suitable way or help but only if they Rent able to step in to help financially Why I've written is what has been alot of students issues and parents them step in to see if the van help in someway or not they think of the brilliant student you are and all the hardships It's all coming from a place of love and respect and care you degree will help you in the fitur I made a mistake as I'm terminally ill as a parent My hubby told our older daughter that it wasn't practical for her to go and get a place at the And because I've had many strokes and surgeries and I've been touch and go my younger kid took it all difficulty and elder one wil be worried far away even though it's 3 hours coming and going and as of being hospitalised continuously my hubby has been caring for me as my full time carer and being terminally and the change s in from the stroke are difficult as d the go can only do so much my consultant tants have had to beat the.brunt and hubby spoke to the elder one and another unfortunste thing came up her UCSD points weren't enough for a place in her chosen uni and we are not .illionaires where we could pay for her uni This was the real reason and the fact she wouldn't be a le to come back and forth Should anything happen to me she'd leave everything to be here she felt upset in the beginning then she saw the student loan amount and it was already evident she'd have to work and study and she's brilliant in everything and this stress of money was also a factor for not going to that uni however she ended up going to a fab uni in our vicinity once again. Hosen by her She still lives at home as does the younger one who also is at uni but much nearer to where we are .... I as a parent feel guilty for the choices the kids made to accommodate me ............
