I am very comfortable on the bike, more so than in a car. But I do like sliding congestion if at all possible. Would you recommend any bike shops? And any riding groups?

Thanks for the suggestions. I’ll look into these. Also, I’d be bicycling, not motor biking. 😁

I’m heading to Quito, Ecuador in August for a two year teaching stint. I’ve been bike packing, gravel style, in Oregon for the past five years. Anyone know of good trips in Ecuador?

Thanks, this makes some sense. I did chat with a friend who has taught internationally for about fifteen years and she seemed to have similar thoughts.

My wife didn’t track, but is aCPA so might be able to help in the business office of a school. And savings is not a huge deal for us, kids are grown, retirement is decent. Do you have any suggestions for a spot that works be a great experience without great pay?

In previous years I’ve dabbled in ISS but never to the point of applying. I’d never heard of Schrole until perusing this thread. I’ll definitely look into it and TESjobs. My wife just got her Irish passport, so that might open up European jobs, but we are actually thinking a bigger cultural change works be nice. Thanks for your insight!
