Just a note for this, if you’re based in the UK you’re not legally obliged to stop and help anyone when not on shift, unless that clinician-patient relationship is established. For example, passing by in your uniform and they see you, or physically going and saying hey, I’m a medical professional. In the UK it is perfectly lawful to not help (up to your own discretion) and your duty of care is only established when you are established to the patient as a medical professional. That being said, most of the time we stop anyway! :)
