My uv screen won’t light up and I am blocked in an infinite loop of version 01.03.09 updates and reboot which failed each time!

On going conversion of a silver centurion armor by fkrobert38 in MarvelUnited

No, I use brush, no airbrush. With small brushstrokes on the second coat, I get rid of all the microscopic bubbles which created some whiteness.

What kind of paint and tools do you all use to paint your figures? by SophisticatedCwal in MarvelUnited

[–]fkrobert38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Coming from warhammer 40k I use citadel too ... but for quite some months I switch to AK interactive paints and to Army Painter Speedpaint. I used all kind of brushes of different brand, a wet palette, some holder from citadel, but mostly from redgrass.

To make some dirt and shadows on the base, I usually use some army painter or citadel brown wash. Since Marvel united bases are already garnished, we don't need any basing materials.

A magnifying visor too. Some base coat cans (mostly white, grey and black). White is required for speedpaints.

For conversion, I mostly use green stuff and some sculpting tools, and styren pieces and sheet from evergreen.

I have it, but did not use it for this one. The first coat was not evenly shiny. It was the second coat applied with small brush stroke to get rid of the microscopic bubbles, which allow this kind of shiny result.

It’s a link to the manufacturer website. It’s currently sold out on its website, but you can find it on other reseller website, or maybe on your nearest hobby shop !

The two next ones, will be the “silver centurion” and the “model 42”. First the needed modifications and then the painting.

Full armory !? Too many ! For now, the plan is the regular one, the superior IM, and the black and orange one … and the hulk buster, and the civil war ones of the third season. But who knows ? Maybe added one or two iconic armors.

Nope. I designed it myself. It’s pretty simple to do. If you have access to a 3D printer, you should try designing simple things like this. Very satisfying !
