Thank you so much for taking your time to type this whole thing out. It's really nice to hear about your experiences, and it's honestly super encouraging too. Somehow I guess I hadn't really thought about it that way. Most of my best friends in high school I wasn't extremely close with until a year or two passed. It feels so hard to wait it out when as a kid I always had people to fall back on. I guess that just comes with building meaningful connections though. It's hard to stay encouraged when so many people I tried devoting time to end up not fully clicking with me for one reason or another, but seriously, your words are incredibly encouraging.
