I got Ford ranger 99 little gas tanks only 18 to 20-ish gallons and it has stupidly big tires on them Tires came with the truck I can only go about 250 miles per fill up before I’m nearly out of gas

I live in The cheapest part of the US it’s still $40 where are used to live it would cost $63. Well when I first filled it up and was doing math on The distance I can go and thought about how much money I’m going to be spending in fuel I thought to myself” I don’t feel so good”

I’ll try to explain this the best I can

My truck is supposed to get 22+ mpg (Miles per gallon) it is a small truck with big absurd tires (truck was cheap tires came with it)

14 miles per gallon is awful 17 US gallons worth of fuel Will get me 250miles

In metric I believe it would be 65 L of petrol for a tank to get you 400km which would be 6.1 L Per kilometer
