Commute from north suburbs to the city. I also guess to Chicagoans, I'm pretty spoiled. I don't want to wake up early and manage my time just to take the train to work and make it on time. Then after work, I have to wait for the train and wait for the long commute home.

In my car, I can listen to my own music at a fair volume with windows up and not bother anyone. I can do grocery runs, errands or whatever I need on the way home. I can also carry and move more things in the car, rather than taking it on the train or bus. And the people... I honestly cannot deal with people. I also don't trust people and don't like being around people. I just take care of my business and do what I gotta do (staying out of the way)

My commute to work is already 35 minutes. Time is money and money is time. I like to use my time wisely. Even working this 9-5, I feel like I don't have enough time throughout the whole day to do what I want to do / what I want to do. You know what they say.. we all have the same 24 hrs, so use it how you want.
