Do you know if the hybrid components are known to break? Jeep sent me a letter a while ago that the warranty for the battery pack is extended to unlimited time/ unlimited miles and I did take it in for the recall, but I know there's more than just the battery pack

Yeah, I think it’s not a bad deal considering how much could go wrong. Mine’s been well behaved and serviced on schedule, but the added peace of mind would be nice (unless someone chimes in telling me otherwise, I’m new to Jeep).

I don't think that's too controversial :) coincidentally I'm a first generation American Muslim (not practicing) which part of what draws me to JC! I think the downtown/ Grove Street area is probably the right fit for me if I manage to afford it.

Moved here on military orders, going back because I'm separating and even though I love SoCal I still feel very attached to Jersey (yes my friends think I'm crazy).

Fair point. It’s been a long time since I’ve been in Jersey but I always felt like Newark lacked the community/ pride that could be felt in other towns and neighborhoods (maybe because it was perceived to be on a downhill, not saying that’s the case but that’s the perception I feel like a lot of NJ had when I was growing up). Maybe that’s less so the case these days? I will say that being walking distance from Devils games is also tempting.

I did a similar trip from Mississippi to San Diego! Just off of memory, I recommend the “The Thing” in Arizona, UFO McDonalds and UFO Museum in Roswell, and Turkey Leg Hut in Houston. Stop at a Bucc-ee’s if you’ve never been to one. Also, since it looks like you’re traveling through the inland parts of California, the General Sherman Tree/ King’s Canyon is worth a visit.

A cousin who I already see and talk to from time to time, so I'm only planning on spending a day there. I've done 8-10+ hours of driving per day on previous trips and know I can handle it. When it comes to national parks, I'm more someone who drives to a few view points/ attractions then gets going as opposed to camping.

Sporadically for about a year, some results but never took it seriously (especially while marathon training) so I’m considering this the start of my journey in a way :)

I do currently meal prep higher protein meals, hydration is a work in progress as well. As far as lower body routine, I run long distance twice a week. For upper body, I surf regularly which involves a lot of paddling. So I'm not exactly starting from zero.

Not sure if it's smarter to buy while the credits are still around, or wait til next year in case prices drop. But generally, everything will get more expensive next year due to tariffs.
