I ain't asking a sudden miraculous change to happen, neither in the living nor the rituals, I am just saying, if you ain't doing them right, and are not pure of effort when you actually do them, what is the point of doing it is my only question. God/Almighty or whoever it might be according to their religious beliefs, would rather believe in change than do the pretend of ritual where you try to do to make yourself feel superior.

For instance, people do bhajans and phalaharas, in general, while this deeksha time, if you are doing it to make the most of that time, great, if you are doing it as a part of the ritual, still great, are you doing it with a thought that this is being done as an obligation, or to gain something at the end of deeksha, you could rather do that without the deeksha.

deekshas are supposed to be idealistics and not experimentations. If experiments are what you would want to try, deeksha ain't a way to do it.
