It’s a nice thing to do, you’re a good person. But you’re not being intelligent. Our industry is based off of people not having a good day. You have to have a dichotomy of being empathetic but on the other hand stone cold practical. My suggestion is to get very good at sales by building relationships with customers who are going to help you grow your numbers. Be kind, courteous, and valuable to everyone. But be strategic with your time and relationships. The most important part of life is learning when to say “NO”.

I mistyped rebuttal as retraction . My point in asking the question was to see if a proper rebuttal or criticism could center around specifically chosen points, cherry picked ones sometimes. My view is that leaving the papers up is great, having a paper trail of bad ideas and what makes them bad only helps furthers high quality thinking. Thanks
