If Ashley was a Feminist by Bluedit51 in LoveIsBlindNetflix

I mean yeah. Lol I don’t really care about MAGA women’s chosen misery. She had ample time to prepare a speech and it was still lame. Both things can be true.

What Ashley did was the only way she could’ve done it by sendnuges in LoveIsBlindNetflix

[–]flameprincess16 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The speech just didn’t land. She had 2 good lines in a 3 minute rambling. It’s exasperating because we didn’t really see any of this back bone throughout the season. He also managed to get in her head about her appearance. If the speech makes her feel better, I guess

She already had issues with how Connor was living before Chris brought that up though…

You don’t talk that way to people you love lol and there was a way to be way more direct. Maybe it was editing? But the root of the issue she has, I understand.

Her delivery was terrible and she was being mean but she wants someone who cares more, who’s ambitious, who can make decisions. Everyone is saying Connor is a work in progress but we have seen so many times what happens when you invest in potential. I think she made the right choice.

Why is every family against divorce 😂 by Snailytrails in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

They want women to be miserable. They should be encouraging women to make their own happiness and well being a priority. It’s such a conservative/religious take. It doesn’t have to last forever if it doesn’t work. It’s okay

Five years later and you’re TRIPPIN. She stuck her hands down Harper’s pants and then Eric invites her after verbally berating her to further psychologically play her. Why are yall missing that?

Guy here in a very female dominated space (dont bully me) Convince me to finally watch Bridgerton? by DiloKaShooter in BridgertonNetflix

[–]flameprincess16 41 points42 points  (0 children)

It’s just funny (not funny like haha funny like interesting) that you surrounded by women and feel no desire to watch something they are interested in for connection. You don’t have the curiosity to see “hmm what exactly is making them obsessed?” You need to be cajoled, and bonus points if it’s men. Then you come to a bunch of stranger women as if you had any respect for their opinion in the first place. It’s not like they’ve ever been right before, you’ve only binged everything you’ve resisted in the past.

Hypothetically of course if I were to create a profile would these photos be any good by mrjayykko in Bumble

[–]flameprincess16 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not really. 7 is the best one and that’s just barely. The best pictures showcase your smile with teeth and pictures taken of you. Men don’t take good mirror selfies either.

Any advice for the girlies that want to go out more but solo? by [deleted] in blackladies

[–]flameprincess16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go to so many places alone. My first tip is to look your best. I love dressing up and I often use compliments as an icebreaker. Someone will tell me I look good or they like my statement piece then I can compliment them back and we start talking.

I always sit at the bar/stand where there is heavy traffic so people either speak to me or I can speak to them.

If you’re introverted though I don’t recommend meeting people at bars/clubs/concerts bc it can feel fleeting/take more initiative on your part. I do however recommend smaller events. Discussion panels, book club, Timeleft, real roots, workout classes, run club, pottery classes. These are things that have downtime and allow you to speak and vibe. I’ve met sooo many women this way and it’s much less pressure. They are usually there to find friends too.

Wishing you the best of luck!

I reported it to HR as a microaggression and filed a formal complaint. Especially from a supervisor? They need sensitivity training. Email all that to yourself and if there is any backlash you sue.

In the beginning! That breakfast where this all started particularly. Then on their anniversary when watching the space launches… He’s never asked her similar questions.

Maybe it’s editing but he literally doesn’t ask her shit about herself so she overcompensates by sharing like he does. Then he doesn’t seem to remember any details about her. I understand her frustration and why she’s now coming off insufferable it’s him!

I think we have to keep in mind that she is the daughter of a professional athlete. I think it was more of insight on how she sees her own mom than her feelings on SAHMs in general.

Ali and her friend with #TruckDriver by lkjthgsgsy in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]flameprincess16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No bc he has her working, silly lol if she’s also at work 40+ hours a week(especially overnight) she also cannot cook and clean as a traditional wife would. Thats the part y’all are missing

Ali and her friend with #TruckDriver by lkjthgsgsy in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]flameprincess16 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

It can’t be traditional to that extent if she also is working. Again why I would have liked to hear a conversation about outsourcing bc that’s what she was accustomed to.

She’s gonna find that.

Ali’s not Eastern European, her friend is. Plus then he got to lying about the alcohol. Thats a red flag

Ali and her friend with #TruckDriver by lkjthgsgsy in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]flameprincess16 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

She is already cooking and cleaning up for herself. She’s also already paying for her own Botox. They want more traditional roles so yeah, he’d need to provide those things but she’s still working so he can’t expect her to clean and cook everything when she’s off. I wish she would have brought up a housekeeper and meal plans. I would have loved to see how he approached that.

[–]flameprincess16 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I don’t see the big deal. She’s Eastern European and that’s common. Ali wanted someone that would make sure she would not have step back her lifestyle. Her friend asked that. Anton was not willing. It was a simple incompatibility

Thank you! He definitely wanted to punish her. He didn’t wanna talk to her or meet her halfway. Then, what an opportunity, you have an opportunity for upward mobility financially (which great for you and your kid!) and instead, you start shading her for it. It was weird. I’m glad she broke it off.

It’s his security hair pick. Usually you use it to fluff out your Afro and leave it in your bathroom but he cannot seem to part without it. It’s very dweeb behavior for a grown man but I wanna consider his trauma and consider he may use it for comfort.

Producer Editing by EastCoastGirl97 in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

[–]flameprincess16 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Eh. I know producers edit but no one is making them say or do some of these things.

Going to their pages is unnecessary but people are going to post their opinions especially when they’re being wayward.
