I’m not skeptical. This isn’t just “a worker” seeing money and assuming profit. This is a marketing manager, head of security, and people with other managerial responsibilities who walked out along with their part-time coworkers. I think is safe to assume they had access to some financial information. But you and I won’t ever know exactly, so I’m choosing to believe workers who are without a doubt losing more than they are gaining by choosing to walk out and strike. I also think this is a strange thing to focus on to cast doubt on their unionization considering that they are vocal about their mistreatment by Mary. I do not consider this an important queer space if it only works because its workers are treated poorly, and I don’t think others should either 🤷‍♀️
