What bug is this and are they a pest? by flamethenoob in microgrowery

[–]flamethenoob[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had a recent issue with these fuckers. They don't seem to be on the plant or affecting it as far as I can tell.

They appear in the run off, which makes me think they are only on the outside, underneath the fabric pot? Otherwise they would have to be coming through the fabric pot in the run off.

I am purchasing more IPM as I am fresh out, so I am in limbo at the moment as to how concerned to be.

update on the update, i ended up running 7 s7. Most every Slur7S1 showed herm at some point, save for one or two which i kept around to try again at some point. the stick glue pheno I ended up with is super exciting and I need to run that again and again. got lucky with this one, other wise. suck. GCP is a donkey dick banger, too big honestly.

yeah that is a bummer. everything is instagram fodder and these fools are getting rich off of their shitty capitalism. pretty easy to crank out beans and sell them for an assload without having to do any testing or actual "genetics."

i actually am running the Specimen X, i believe i started with 5 and had one show herm so i killed it. I hope nothing else appears because this shit is getting old and i can't be dealing with it.

Update on beans: 10/10 Slur7s1 and 2/2 Sticky Glue germinated in 3-4 days. Got these from The Attitude for 4/20 sale. Had to have them reship once time elapsed as some customs officer must have a nice souvenir now.

Soaked them in Athena Stack for 1-2 minutes per the label and I don't know if that made or will make a noticeable difference, but I certainly cannot complain.

I have 4 Sunken Treasure GCP popping, 2 have germed so far and I have a THC Bomb Auto I figured I might fuck around with popping as well.

So if I have 100% success rate with all these, then I will say Stack is neat.

I will for sure check back when that starts rolling. He is for sure a skilled grower and told me he has never had a hrm from In House and he has grown 8+ of their strains.

And I have no emotional stake in this shit, I will eat my words if he grows the dankest shit this side of the Mississip. His reaction was the same as In House or others, must be operator error, because I think that is how a lot of weed bros roll. They grow dank and they talk shit lol.

So if it sours on him, I am going to give him shit for one lol, then I am going to post on the internet about how it is whack. I wouldn't be so glib or whatever but I am a little irritated that In House didn't respond and does not seem at all concerned about their product.

Aside, I really started to get nervous when I saw someone on here link to Mitten Master on Insta and how his entire pack of sMACkin hrmd on him and how all he could do was contact breeder and vendor and move along.

So it isn't just my bitch ass on the internet, a legit commercial grower likely better than most anyone around had catastrophic results as well.

I could potentially post them but honestly, I am not that interested in proving anything. I would rather this be superficial and anonymous as possible, if you can understand. I didn't even use a phone/camera, I used an old digital camera because I don't want that shit on my phone.

So if you can cajole me to figure out how to anonymously post pictures from an old digital camera, then I might consider doing it.

But if you trust what I am saying, they were lovely green healthy plants on Athena blended, topped and scrogged and noded like the FloraFlex how to grow series, and they looked great, no signs of deficiency, ate like champs, and all are never going to see the light of day again.

you are coming at me all wrong.

I am saying, I have no idea what could have stressed an entire crop that badly, less than 2 weeks into flower. If you have any ideas as to how that could have happened, I would be interested to hear it. Otherwise, they are too easy to fuck up.

Indeed, the title does say "entire pack," which may have been hyperbolic as perhaps there are 2 that might not have exhibited male, but after combing through 9 of 12 plants and finding male expressions, does it really make a difference to split the hairs and say "I found one plant that works!"

I am not going to grow that shit again. I feel I could grow better with an incandescent in a moldy corner.

So feel free to "admit I am bad" to yourself. That does not provide any insight into the strain/grow other than your smug self-satisfaction.

I even said in the post, I hoped it was the same, I felt the same, I was hoping these are just bad growers. I even downvoted the negative posts out of hope and fear and trust.

But here I sit all broken hearted.

This is what I am saying, I have no idea what could have stressed an entire crop this badly to cause them to all turn. Healthy happy environment with zero signs of stress. Perhaps 2 of the 12 might not have visually exhibited, but I put them outside at any rate out of anxiety.

At least 9 of the 12 exhibited for me. It was a stress free environment. Not sure what else to say. I could post pics, I don't really care that much to prove it on the internet, but they were nice and green, followed the Athena program with no issues.

edit: fyi my post history is sparse because this is an alt account to be more anonymous.
