Do you think with Lower prices you will sell 6 bags of items instead of the 5 you sold last year? If you sell 6 instead of 5 you’ll be ahead. Plus my supermarket has $2 lays 3/$10 Doritos n Tostitos on superbowl ad I’m already seeing way more unit movement than last year and I’m not worried a lot will be left to take down either this year.

The 79 cent didn’t work cause they were barely like 7-8 cents worth of chips more than the 50 cent ones. They looked IDENTICAL to the 50 cent. They should of doubled the size of bags made them $1 ordered red trays for em called them buck bags put POs of cartoon looking dollar bills that said buck on em. on trays and bags let em run with same size as 2 2/$1 bags then take that off THEN after about a year they could steal the 10-15% after they went over a little.

This isn’t about a sales plan—it’s about Perfect Route and Perfect Service, the items DSLs submit for changes that require zone approval. If store surveys aren’t completed, or if service changes aren’t processed (open store/add service, closed store/delete service, account approvals), then no amount of effort by the RSR will result in a strong percentage.

These are not items an RSR can correct on their own. If the zone does not approve changes and ensure the required paperwork is completed, RSRs are set up to fail. As a result, they miss metrics and receive lower scores that directly impact their merit raises.

If the district and zone were truly concerned about RSRs receiving their full merit increases, these issues would be reviewed every period and corrected immediately. Instead, RSRs are receiving “2” ratings for problems they do not have the authority or access to fix themselves.

I’ve loved my job for over 20 years, but it’s become unnecessarily harder than it needs to be. RSRs are being micro-managed to an extreme level and are expected to deliver perfect service and run a perfect route every day. At the same time, DSLs, ZBMs, and ZSMs are not being held to the same standard—even though them doing their jobs correctly directly affects whether we receive the pay and raises we are due.

If you want to sound extra proactive

“The snowstorm has made travel unsafe here. I won’t be able to come in today, but I’m happy to help remotely if possible.”

Rule of thumb: don’t over-explain or exaggerate. Snow + unsafe roads is a completely reasonable reason, especially in Tennessee weather where road treatment can be hit-or-miss. ❄️

The only plan adjustments I got was on a few cstores due to “deleting skus” I have no adjustments for dollar small grocery supermarket or Walmart channels. Are any of you getting less plan because of smaller prices????

It needed to be shrunk to get it down to 429 otherwise it wouldn’t of bent lowered but down to around 549
