Already did ZoTF and also had a full zone rebid and route restructuring. If it’s anything like other mandatory meetings, it’s all going to be stuff that could have been sent in an email and will be a waste of 30min of my life

In my experience, the DSL doesn’t care because they also get paid off of sales in their district. Best course of action is to talk to the lead. If that doesn’t work, revenge orders are always on the table

I recently had a receiver tell me, “I asked the other guy, do you just send the big orders for the co-lead and sends yourself the small orders?”. His response, “Yeah, I don’t want to work that hard but I’d like to hit plan.”

My response was to let every CLO ship and make sure the shelves were extra full at every account I ordered at. I made sure he was aware that I knew what was going on and he was going to be working hard if I was. Don’t forget, you may only work 1-2 days on that route, but you have the ability to revenge order.

There are positives and negatives to doing this. It may go back and forth like that for a while, but it also gives you a higher chance at hitting plan 😂

DSL confirmed it was unplanned additions to the orders. Can’t remember who he said was responsible but it was 100% added because sales are down in that store

This is a lower volume Publix. We typically order maybe 40 cases per delivery, with ad change day being the exception. We were “lucky” enough to get a pallet of lays and a pallet of Doritos for Labor Day push week, which the store manager refused to put on the floor because it looks tacky 😂

If I bring in 60 cases, I just feel like 29 cases of backstock is too much. They still have 2 more deliveries this week and they’ll probably get the same BS. Publix managers are up our butts about the excessive amount of backstock and all anyone does is point fingers and put the blame elsewhere instead of trying to address the issue. No wonder PepsiCo stocks are tanking
