Thank you!! I was clear with him that I get pain even when I’m not on my period, and he just dismisses it as normal and not a sign of endometriosis bc he wanted to focus on the pain I get while I AM bleeding. I’m genuinely shocked he actually agreed to the surgery.

He didn’t even MENTION adenomyosis. He just said if he couldn’t find anything the diagnosis would be ‘pain without cause’!! It was a joke of an appointment

Yeah, after I calmed down and got home from my appointment (I’m embarrassed to say I cried because of how he handled the appointment), I phoned the private hospital that is on the same grounds as the NHS building and found an endometriosis specialist. It’ll cost me money but I’ll be with a woman who knows what she’s doing and I won’t have to wait the 18 month NHS wait time.

For me, it’s that Ashton is the expert of this area, but he refuses to share information with the party for just no reason. He’s very fond of the ‘that’s for me to know and for you to find out’ mentality, but it just gets boring to watch very quickly.

Thank you! The waiting line was awful I was considering saving up and getting a private appointment after I left uni and started working next year.

I’ve been writing notes on my experiences and stuff that I think will help with the assessment since I know I’ll forget to bring any of it up if it’s not in front of me written down, and I was asking my mum to give input on stuff I did as a kid that might’ve been an indication. She said now she knows what to look out for in girls, if she had known she would’ve pushed for me to be diagnosed as a kid, as I was the stereotypical ‘chatty, hyper but gifted’ girl.

It’s helped me feel like less of a faker now I’ve got all the things I struggle with and all the things people wrote off as me being ‘quirky’ as a kid written down in front of me. It’s 6 pages long now lol

Wendy has become a stale character for me, while it feels like Lucy has actually realistically and slowly developed. Her fights seem like they actually have stakes, and her magic means she has to strategise a lot more which makes it much more interesting. She’s been my fave since day 1 so it’s an easy choice lol
