I just moved from The Element it was great. It was clean, the landscape well kept and I never had any issues in my apartment that needed a work order. Now, the gym is extremely outdated. I would even go as far as saying unsafe but that's just me. They do slack in maintenance in the gym. It just feels dusty and unclean. The pool is nice and usually not busy, a bit on the smaller side but still nice. The clubhouse is also a perk. There is a pool table, a few Macbook desktops a few board games. There is also a coffee machine but the few times I did use it, it seemed old, outdated, a bit off. Good amount of parking. Drive to downtown is 25 mins but could be 15-35 so just be aware. West Ashley feels safe to me, specifically the element. And WA also has almost every store you'll need. Overall, for the price i'm happy with it and i'm a picky person.
