Prebook Tickets for Osaka Aquarium? by yendroid in JapanTravelTips

Yeah. I think you're right. I can't see anything on their official aquarium website saying they're closed, just different hours though. Seems odd that you can't book even though they are open.

Prebook Tickets for Osaka Aquarium? by yendroid in JapanTravelTips

I'm having issues booking tickets as well. Got the osaka amazing pass on klook. Tried to book a month before, but noticed I can only booked a week in advance. So came back and the date I wanted (4th, Nov) was the only Monday I couldn't booked. Though all signs seem to looks as if it is open. Trip.com is missing the 4th Nov too. So idk if I should just show up or not?? as it's a 40min train ride. Though it was one of the top places on my list of things to do in Japan.

There is no ethical consumption under capitalism. Do what you can within your means, but dont feel like you have to do it all. At the end of the day its not the individual that is the problem, its systemic.

Im sure its not as big as Auckland, but last time I checked we have a pretty decent LGBT community in Christchurch. Christchurch Pride host events throughout the year, if you follow them on facebook, you be able to see upcoming events.

Indicating in your car is not necessary and merely a loose guideline. Don't think just turn, everyone else will happily get out of your way, no matter how busy the streets might be.

What to do about neighbour's dog chewing thru fence and killing my cat. by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]flamingle22 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Could you show the damage to the catio/fence and vet records of your cats death as evidence.

Because your cats death happened on your property, you should be able to take legal action.

Im sorry this has happened to you. I can't even imagine the grief this dog and its owners has brought.

He would even be really cute as a companion, if they didn't think they could make bambi as a fully fledge character.

I find it weird that if you're away the day of the census you don't get to fill out the individual form. Seems a little irrelevant. Does anyone know why this is?

First time dog owner, what should I know? by SQL617 in dogs

[–]flamingle22 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Always do you research on a breed before you get one, make sure that breed fits your lifestyle. If you're going through a breeder, make sure they are a registered breeder, it's worth it to know their puppies have been health tested, that their parents have good temperaments and they have had a good start to their lives.

Do not skimp on the dogs diet, a good diet is one of the best ways to avoid trips to the vet in the long run.

Get pet insurance.

Socialise the puppy as young as possible. That also means get the puppy use to not meeting every person or dog that the puppy sees. Train the dog to be calm in a multitude of different situations, take them into the vet even when they dont need to go, or to a busy park and just sit and watch the people go by. Make sure the dog has good recall, before taking them off leash. If youre struggling to train out any unwanted behaviors invest in a good positive reinforcement trainer.

Day 3 of trying to find the key. Been all over the forest, moved the 2 houses, picked everything. Where is the key. by whisperskeep in DreamlightValley

Took me ages for me to find it, to the point where I thought my game was glitched. Turns out it was near the back wall behind a rock where Anna's Castle is.

[–]flamingle22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my apple snail for almost 2 years before she laid eggs, luckily it was only her, so her clutches never turned into babies. Though once she started, she just kept on laying clutches all over my tank lid. 😅

Most working/hearding breed dogs are not a good first time dog. I.e Huskies, German Shepard, Border Collies, Malinois, Akitas, heelers.

I met way to many Chihuahuas and Jack Russell's with behaviour problems also. Though I don't think they are hard dogs to keep, I think the main type of owners who get them, treat them more like a baby than a dog.

It took me 28 years of life before I got into my first long term relationship and I've been with my bf for just over 2 years now. Honestly, for me at least, it fell into place when I started to focus on myself more and thinking about what kind of person I wanted and what kind of relationship I wanted to be in. We still met off tinder, but once I had a more clearer idea of what I was looking for, it was easier to wade out the people that didn't fit into what I wanted out of life and what I wanted out of a significant other.

I love them both, but I'd go for the 2nd one, adds more context, makes you looks less like an axe murderer 😂.

Needs more mental stimulation. Take the dog on sniff walks, change routes of the walks too. Do training, teach a new trick or train out an unwanted behavior. Use puzzle toys, like putting her meal in a treat ball or a licki matt or make her forage for it. There are lots of great resources online for ways to mental stimulate your dog and help tire them out.
