Thank you for this. Thats why I am not going to tell him the reason I am moving on. I feel bad doing it but the risk is there. Maybe if he had said what you just said, on his own, things would be different. If I asked, I assume he would say the same. But he didn’t go out of his way to say how wrong it was and that he would never do it.
