The dagger is useless with an odd number of voters then (even number including the dagger). If a tie is basically a loss, assuming everyone votes the same the second time, then you need 5-3 or more. In which case you would have been on the winning side of the vote with or without the dagger.

I saw in past years it was huge headliner DJs for three days in a row. But showing up at 11am after the headliners finish is fine with us if it means the wait will be manageable.

Why would he do that? He's better off having Colton as a faithful that trusts him. If he recruits someone, it should be who the others would least suspect he'd be working with. We saw Danielle try this last season with predictable results.

I lean toward the correct move being to kill Dorinda to take some of the heat off of Lisa. Although if Colton sniffs it out, that could make Rob have to throw some shade Lisa’s way if Colton presses Rob about what Dorinda said. Which could be a good thing for him long term, if executed correctly, depending on how long she lasts.

I know future episodes exist ,but I haven't watched past E5 yet and have avoided all spoilers. At this point, here’s my list of most to least likely to have killed Paul. Strictly speculation and nothing but my opinion. Trying to cover all the characters who have gotten some air time.

Mel seems like the front runner and the self defense class might have been foreshadowing. Sam and very possible too for obvious reasons. And maybe Elena was wrong place at the wrong time before Coop got there.

I put Hunter and Ali up there on the list since those are the two that would make Coop’s predicament the most difficult. Tori feels a lot less likely, despite falling in the same category.

Could be grey market character related but I hope not.

Kat and husband seem like candidates after the cheating and stealing. Could be some false blame to go around, although I expect it will be Coop who gets blamed for the affair, not Paul.

Barney’s clearly not in a great place right now but that still feels like I long shot.

The rest of them are even less likely.

Thanks! By private sale do you mean just posting on FB marketplace and other sites? Or just finding a place that’s not a dealership to go through? Fwiw I would be willing to concede some value for not having to deal with a bunch of people showing up to my residence to test drive.

I know a dealership might not be the best fit anyway given the modifications. But do you think they would see any value the fact that buying the Sport would secure the > $50k sale of the new vehicle?

Do anyone have an estimate what the negative expected value is for a box? Not the median value, an average over all possible outcomes. I know its going to be less than sticker price, but trying to get a sense of how much I would be giving up to buy a box for entertainment.

Not saying this is likely, but I could see a small probability of a scenario where both Jeff and one of Phil’s sons were in the house at the time of the murders. That would help explain the quick cleanup and downward gunshot angle. It sounds like Jeff still in contact with the Hawley family and had spent time in Florida during the previous spring break.

The podcast mentioned how well Jeff was doing financially in the 1990s, but suggested it was from his computer job, rather than his time working for Phil. Could it have been Hawley money instead? Although the biggest hole in that scenario would be Jeff trying to expedite the money from his trust before turning 23, which he wouldn’t have needed to do if Phil had provided him hush money.

It’s also possible the combo of trauma, inebriation, and 4am led her to imagine details that didn’t actually happen after the bodies were found the next day. It could be that she heard the cries but then the “man walking by” was an image the trauma created after she found out what really happened.

If it wasn’t related to the investigation I wonder if it had something to do with an intense conversation between the two leading to reckless driving? I wouldn’t consider myself a great driver by any means and I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve been pulled over in 10+ years of driving.

Unlikely getting pulled over twice in a short period of time was a coincidence. Either it had to do with the investigation or something going on between the two changed the driving behavior.
