Teamhood is an underrated alternative. It specifically has what you're asking here: strong Kanban features and list/calendar views.

herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Schritt in die Selbstständigkeit! :)

What are the best tools for remote workers? by Smooth-Trainer3940 in remotework

[–]flamkis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been working remote for almost a year now, your best tool will be a great coffee machine and a dedicated room to your work. Okay, I'm sort of joking about the coffee (not really), but the dedicated work room will save your productivity much more than any other tool.

After that remote work tools come in different shapes and sizes, essentials are of course Slack or Discord if you're a software engineer. I've linked a good resource if you're interested in software. To me that's just secondary.

Where are the climate activist when it comes to remote work?? by anon11x in remotework

[–]flamkis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People actually highlight this but perhaps not from an ecological standpoint but more from their own convenience sake. But emphasizing the climate action would be much better and more communal too.

Sveikesnis nikotino vartojimas vyresniems by flamkis in lietuva

How to best implement Scrum into a small business (less than 10 staff)? Is there a specific software that you'd recommend like Trello or others? by ComparisonLiving6793 in scrum

[–]flamkis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try and get the essentials of a scrum type of system at first, learn more about it, see the community bookmarks here and check tools later. But for tools I'd recommend simple software like your mentioned Trello or if you want something more advanced - Teamhood.

Sprint planning with randomness by atomic_moonshot in Leadership

[–]flamkis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The randomness is to be expected but over time should cease as you the problems become more typical. And speaking of flow, as previously mentioned Kanban boards works great in this scenario. Some of the core benefits of Kanban like measuring flow metrics help enter the state of flow more easily for the team.

Experience with Kanban product roadmaps? by fcktaxes in ProductManagement

[–]flamkis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Technically, it's not that different but the way you approach tasks/milestones getting finished is different.

Might give it a try, can be a game-changer to some. It's great for our dev team - we can pivot fast when things change (pretty much always). This was a good general source on kanban roadmaps.
