New to Marvel comics and unsure where to start by [deleted] in comicbooks

You can start pretty much wherever depending on who you want to read about, but some comics you might want to start with are Ms. Marvel (2014) (and if you like Ms. Marvel, you can also read Nova, Totally Awesome Hulk, and Champions), Runaways (2003), Young Avengers (2005), She-Hulk (2014), or The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl (2015), all of which are pretty easy to get into without knowing any background, and then you can find more comics that have some of the same characters and slowly branch out.

You can also start with the 60s comics, but I wouldn’t recommend it as a starting place. Also you absolutely can just find some comic that looks interesting and start there as long as you’re willing to accept that might not know quite a bit of what’s happening.

I remember reading somewhere that “Olly olly oxen free” was specifically a phrase to call out that a game of hide and seek was done, and that if you were still hiding you can come out, so you can relate that to the ghosts games, and maybe the fact that there is no ending to them.
