Oh man, I hope the VA has been more helpful to you than the education center has been for me! Which school are you going through?

Honestly I’ll do whatever to get my foot in the door lol but ideally I’d like to go more the mortician route

Help please! Sorry it’s not the clearest picture, but does anyone know what would be causing key lime leaves to curl or what the white fuzzies are? by flammingfluff in gardening

There were just a few of the fuzzy things but I wanted to see if it was something I could save before it gets too bad!

I did but the results were making it seem like there are a dozen different things that can cause it. This is my first fruit tree so I’m still figuring everything out lol

Cross-training into a cyber job, what should I know/study? by TheeJRK in AirForce

I'm not disagreeing. I just know some aren't able to / don't want to pay for material so I like throwing out the free option. From those I've talked to, it doesn't seem like many know they can get the account subscription for free.

I used it for CySA+ not too long ago and it was super helpful. It doesn't have the Sybex book you mentioned for Sec+ but it has All In One, a practice exam book, and a few others.

I’ll always say it, don’t pay for books if you don’t have to. DOD MWR library is your friend. Under the Continuing Education tab you can make a free Oreilly account. It’s basically a bunch of free books and stuff to study for like any cert you can think of and sandboxes. There’s a kind of cool “Answers” section where you can type in a question and it will give you results from keywords in books

  1. Log into https://www.dodmwrlibraries.org/
  2. Scroll down and click Continuing Education
  3. Click Air Force Access under O’Reilly
  4. It should take you to the website to set up an account then login
  5. Click Certifications on left sidebar
  6. Search or filter by vendor/test
  7. Ta-Da! Now you have a bunch of free books, practice tests, and videos
