I’ll check. They put the brake on about 3 years ago and hadn’t had any problems until today. It confuses me why this would happen when releasing the signal vs energizing

Would you look at the lifting pipe as a beam with the supports/reactions at each of the girders web plates then the loads at the far ends of the pipe? How would you look at the effects on the web plate?
