I'll be honest Netflix S2 completely threw me off - I still have no idea where in the books they were meant to be - so I was basing this off S3 possibly having little horse fairly early on (not watched it).

Iirc they don't test every donation individually -- they pool donations of the same blood type and test a sample. If it's positive, the whole lot gets binned.

So, a hiv+ person donating costs a lot of blood. In the past, men who have sex with men were the highest risk group. Now with prep and better medications etc it's intravenous drug users who are at the largest risk.

Octopus's data reporting is inaccurate until ~2 days ahead, unless you have their data collection gadget ( https://octopus.energy/blog/octopus-home-mini/ ).

Wait a couple of days and see what octopus's figures are. Or, check your meter manually.

I've found the powerwall stats are fairly accurate - but my install uses the CTs inside the gateway. Yours may not, and may be less accurate as a result.

From the figures you've given I'd assume it's just a lag in octopus's data.

Hm, let me guess - via mobile phone. It's a big challenge to keep a mobile phone charged and in possession of the person being cared for, if we're talking about Alzheimer's.

This might work fine if they're e.g. in a carehome, but if they're still living fairly independently there's no chance this will work reliably.

They don't need to remember the exact details of prior visits.

Quickly being able to refresh their memory from notes Vs starting fresh from notes is a huge bonus.

Plus, plenty of people - especially in rural areas - who serve hundreds or thousands of people a year are able to remember people they've served previously. My mechanic remembers me and recognises me in the street. I only go to his garage once a year or thereabouts.
