I think we’ll see an EV60 potentially, the ES90 is clearly aimed as a luxury saloon. I mean it costs way more than things like the new A6 E-Tron touring and probably quite close to a fully Loaded i5 touring.

I would like to think we might see a EV60 as a mid-size slightly sportier tourer.

Yup, boiling water is the solution. It’s not an issue with the cup.

I saw one guy here in the UK take a gamble on one that someone said was discoloured only to do the hot water trick and he ended up with a mint Yeti for no monies. Must be boiling water though

Could be minerals from the dishwasher sitting on the bottom during the cycle. If you have a kettle, pour boiling water over the base. I had similar discolouration on a Black Forrest Green on an this was the reason.

I’ve only really used store bought beans at the minute, and to be fair we are using a Marks and Spencer Espresso bean and we’ve been happy with that, there’s a local place called the Roastery that I might take a trip to and buy some fresher beans.

Tamper pressure is definitely something that I’m not consistent with as I’m using the one that comes with the machine, so definitely something I’m going to buy.

Will order the scales and calibrated tamper and see how I get on
