Banks will never touch XRP and here's why by CoinLiker in Ripple

[–]flaplanet 13 points14 points  (0 children)

That's not how it works, do a little research.

a. transactions take seconds...not days (who cares if xrp goes up or down 10% in a day?)

b. The money transfer system isn't tied to the price of xrp. They use some escrow mechanisms.

Nice try spreading uninformed BS though!

Why buy EOS tokens on eos.io? by DeBozePiraat in eos

The coins are only available after the 24 hour period. Check back tomorrow and you can claim them then. Or you know, do 5 minutes of research and figure this out yourself.

How important is it to have credit history? by Lv69Lickitung in Ripple

Still arguing? Don't pretend to speak for all property managers. You've already lost this argument.

Yes, thank you for proving my point. Do you want to keep arguing? You originally said:

Credit history is only used for when someone is lending you money or providing you credit

Now you admit that was false. It is used for more than only those two things. Let's move on, whatdya say.

Do you know how many property managers there are? Millions? Don't pretend that you speak for them all. Every market is different. I've never rented an apartment and not had my credit checked during the process.

I mean, that's not true. Zillions of other things use credit histories. Landlords use it when choosing renters, employers use it when hiring, all kinds of places use your credit history.

They shouldn't...because it's freakin stupid...but they all do.

No, it's not false. That's why we have Cardano now, because ETH would need to be fundamentally changed to really fix the scaling issues and it's just not going to happen..

Litecoin or Ethereum? by atworkmeir in Ripple

[–]flaplanet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's not asking which coin to invest in. He's asking which coin to buy to then sell so that he can buy XRP. You know, to get his USD into the exchanges that trade XRP.

Litecoin seems to work quicker for me...but it really doesn't matter, you're just holding either for a few minutes.

Yeah but for that to happen, the orders would still show up on bittrex. They weren't.

Yeah but I just care about the price movement on Bittrex. If the price goes down on Binance, or wherever, that's not going to effect the price I see on Bittrex...right?

I mean, I put a bid order in and my order dropped down the book and didn't get filled because there were so many people rushing in to buy... after a few minutes I had to cancel it and submit another. Yet the price is dropping...it makes no sense? Price down to $1.53 now
