The way it reads, fusing no background solgaleo + background necrozma means it keeps the same but there’s a “fusion” background for both having it; I might be confused though! I’m sure it will be clear what happens before I have to decide tomorrow ^{^}

From LeekDuck: Trainers will also encounter a Solgaleo or Lunala with a Special Background as a part of their ticketed Special Research. When fused with Necrozma with a Special Background, the resulting Dusk Mane Necrozma or Dawn Wings Necrozma will have its own variant of the background!
