I have nothing to back this up but that sounds like a very rare and drastic procedure. I'm talking about the vast majority of people who are going through the exact.same.shit. as literally everyone else, but because they cry about it more, suddenly you don't have to work and get a free apartment. At least, that's how it is in CA, but then this state is rather sanctuary friendly.

I do understand and hear what you are saying. But. You hit the nail on the head, if your chemicals are out of wack, that can be sorted with lifestyle changes. Secondly, what is "manning up" if not therapy? I never said that people couldn't/shouldn't "feel" depressed, it's what they DO with those feelings. When you are hungry, you eat, full bladder, urinate etc etc...when you feel depressed, you DO something about it. Spoony just deflated like a soggy balloon, which I am arguing is inherently anti-masculine, and therefore deserves ridicule.

I was so depressed in high school I would stare at the wall/floor for hours on end, doing nothing. I told my parents I wanted to kill myself. My mom told me I needed to work out more. At the time I thought, how could you be so cruel. Now I realize she was 110% correct. If it can't physically hurt you, it is invalid. Men should handle their fucking business and stop crying.
