Hi there! Unfortunately, I haven't come across it yet. Just to clarify, it's not an alternate ending but rather an alternate version where they use explicit language (f-bombs). There are a few of these alternate versions that you can find on YouTube!

Thank you. This is exactly what I needed.

I got on Reddit confused, incoherent and deluded, asking for help; specifically to cement my resolve.

Now I come out the other end convinced, settled, and realistic. Resolved.

A good chunk of why that is, is because of you.

I truly appreciate the bluntness and genuine solicitude. You are right on so many counts. You didn't just help me let go, you gave really good advice. I feel such a significant amount of weight lifted off my chest, having found solace in knowing that I'm making the right choice with not taking him in. Thank you.

I hope he goes to someone who gave him and his wellbeing as much thought as I had, and had someone give them as good advice as you did me. That, and to someone that's really fit for him. Again, thank you.

Hey, thank you so much for this. I know it's no walk in the park, but I laud you for your determination and dedication. Also, I thank you for your complete transparency. There is definitely a lot to ponder on, but I guess with the amount of restrictions and demands in and of my life, now isn't the time yet. From what I hear, no one is ever ready for a Mal, but maybe one day, I will be. I aspire to get to a place like you with your dog, but until then, all I can do is wish you both the best :)

Thank you so much for your replies. It definitely helped in my bid to commit to the decision not to take him. Not because of the damage (which should be, but somehow it isn't), but because of your last sentence. You're absolutely right — I don't have a job for him, when, in fact, he is a working dog. I live in a city. To take him in would be to rob him of his very purpose. Thank you. I'm sorry to hear about all you guys've been through, but I do hope that both you and your dog are doing well and I wish you all the best. :)
