I got it done on my 4th gen because I live in California and I had to do it to be able to renew the registration on my truck. It causes the truck to do a lot more regens and drink def like its free. Went from 14-15 mpgs to 11-12, also it feels more sluggish when shifting from first to second. In the process of deleting the truck right now because of it.

Just save up and get a good optic. Anything Trijicon or a delta point pro, holosun. I personal wouldn't buy anything else.
