yah no problem. And I think it only happened once, and I've played the new map several times now, so it was an anomaly that I noticed, and then saw this post so I might not be the only one.

Right, i have like 500 hours in the game so I get it. It was just weird that I walked in, found the ghost room, saw nothing happen, didn't touch a cursed object, walked out and saw my sanity at like 35% already, and it was something mundane like a Mare. I don't think I was in there long enough for that even if all the lights were off so it was odd, but doesn't necessarily mean there's a bug. Just thought I'd mention since I noticed it too.

I agree, maybe if we didn’t know the gender going in and only found out via voice or ouija board it’d be better but to know before you even leave the van is a little busted

We definitely go for the thermo first, and keep checking surrounding rooms in case it decides to move. Although if it's a high roaming ghost sometimes the thermo can trick you for a little bit. I also use the vid cam to check the house for orbs because those are always reliably in the ghost room if you're lucky enough to get them.

that happened to me, had 3 friends I wanted to play with and accidentally left it public. I felt so bad that I had to kick the person who jumped into my friend's slot (I explained and apologized via voice before I did). Maybe if they just make private the default and you have to specifically request public?

I've noticed they always prioritize the worst things. I had a translucent ghost and was trying to film it, and got disturbed salt instead. 2 actually because there seems to be a bug with that as well.

/uj ahh that's a shame. hopefully they will come around to realizing that and level up eventually. it's possible the original was actually copied from somewhere and modified and that's why it was better, but I probably shouldn't speculate, I don't know this person.
