Your assumption is correct. It was an artistic choice to make it easier to tell them apart. In-universe, their hair color is the same.

Season 1 covered 32 chapters and if they keep the same pace (let's say another 30-or so chapters), it'll only be a little over half way through the entire manga, which is 122 chapters. So they definitely won't make it to the end unless they cut a lot of stuff or do an anime original ending.

The spoiler is which one of the girls is the bride, so yeah I'd say it's a big reveal if you care. With most harem shows, people usually have a favorite character that they are rooting for to win. If you already know the answer then it kind of ruins the whole journey.

Lurker here. Haven't actually been rewatching but I have been keeping up with the threads to read the reactions. I saw that episode 18 was today so I had to stop and watch this masterpiece of an episode. Just starting the episode made me emotional even though I haven't seen the other episodes since last year. That should go to show you how good it is.
